Growing Pains

Lead-in Can you describe an experience with your parents that was not pleasant? E.g. Is there any thing you like to do while your parents do not allow you? Is there any thing your parents expect you to do while you dislike it?

If you were left alone at home, can you imagine what would happen?

Reading Strategy : Reading a play What is a play? A play is a piece of writing which is intended ( 旨在) to be performed in a theatre, on the radio or on television. A play is usually made up of several acts( 幕 ). Each act can have several scenes( 场 景 ).
