The source It is on Qinghai( 青海 )-Tibet Plateau, in western China. It mouth is the East China sea, near Shanghai. The Yangtze river flow through 25 cities and make those cities and province become more prosperous then other.

The estuary The estuary is East China sea. It’s location is Shanghai cities. It a mega city of China. The East China sea is a marginal sea east of China. It’s a part of Pacific Ocean and covers an area of 1,249,000km2 or 750,000 square miles.

The Yangtze river’s detail The length of the river is 6,300km miters. Yangtze river is one of the biggest river in Asia, and the third longest in the world. The Yangtze drains one-fifth of China’s land area and it’s river basin is home to one- third of China’s population.

The key feature of Yangtze river Yangtze river is the longest river in Asia, and it’s 6,300km, (3.915miters) it the third longest river in the world. The river pass throw 31cities and municipality cities is Chongqing and Shanghai. The river has 21bridgeson it.

The tributaries of Yangtze river The Yangtze river has over 700 tributaries. The major tributaries with the locations of where they join the Yangtze are: Yangtze River (Yunnan Province) Min River (Yibin, Sichuan Province) Tuo River (Chongqing) There are 9 tributaries

Yangtze River’s Dams There are two river built on the Yangtze river. Three Gorges Dam and Gezhouba Dam with a third one, Xiluodu Dam under construction. More dams are in planning stage, such as Wudongde, Baihetan, and Xiangjiaba. There are many bridges build either, for example; First Bridge Wuhan 1957, Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge 1968, Jiujiang Yangtze River Bridge1992, Sutton Yangtze River Bridge, road-rail Bridge, 21 Bridges, Suspension bridge.

All the major cities that are on the Yangtze River There are 31 major cities on the river. The First One: 1.Chongqing is a major cities in southeastern main land China and one of the five national central cities. 2. Administratively, it is one China’s four direct- controlled municipalities, and the only such municipality in western China.

It served as the capital of China during several historical periods and is recognized as one of the four Great Ancient Capitals of China. 3. Nanjing was Chinese Civil war in 1949.

How is the Yangtze River used by people The Yangtze River can help animals and plants grows, and also can build Dams, the river can also support hydroelectric power for the people. The prosperous Yangtze River Delta generates as much as 20% of Chinese’s GDP.
