 Revelation 3:1a “And to the angel of the church in Sardis write: ‘The words of him who has the seven spirits of God and the seven stars. I. The church/Christian that looks alive but is dead

 Revelation 3:1b “‘I know your works. You have the reputation of being alive, but you are dead. I. The church/Christian that looks alive but is dead



 What does it mean to be a church that looks alive but is dead? I. The church/Christian that looks alive but is dead

 Revelation 3:2 Wake up, and strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have not found your works complete in the sight of my God. II. The church/Christian that needs to wake up

 3 And he said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” And I answered, “O Lord G OD, you know.” 4 Then he said to me, “Prophesy over these bones, and say to them, O dry bones, hear the word of the L ORD. 5 Thus says the Lord G OD to these bones: Behold, I will cause breath to enter you, and you shall live.  Revelation 3:3 Remember, then, what you received and heard. Keep it, and repent. If you will not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come against you. II. The church/Christian that needs to wake up

 Jesus gave the church the warning that they need to have urgency in expecting His return. II. The church/Christian that needs to wake up

 Revelation 3:4 Yet you have still a few names in Sardis, people who have not soiled their garments, and they will walk with me in white, for they are worthy. III. The church/Christian clothed in white



 Revelation 3:5 The one who conquers will be clothed thus in white garments, and I will never blot his name out of the book of life. I will confess his name before my Father and before his angels. III. The church/Christian clothed in white
