What is Microsoft Publisher?  Microsoft Publisher is a desktop publishing software program that allows you to design and produce high quality documents that contain text and graphics.

What is Desktop Publishing?  Desktop publishing is the process of combining words, graphic images and pictures to create documents. The last ten to fifteen years have seen a growth in desktop publishing in the private sector.  Originally a commercial process requiring writers, designers, typesetters and artists, it now can be done at home or school because of the software available in today's market. The works produced are of professional quality and contain creative individuality.
