Lesson Objective I am learning how to plan and deliver a news Report

Introduction You are going to produce a News Report The Report should include: Discussion of banning the sale of certain foods to under 16’s Parents being fined £1000 if they buy their children these foods

Roles News reader News reporter Camera person Child Mum Dinner lady

Planning Plan your news report on a large sheet of paper. Use the following flow map to write your script Introducing the news item (What will the news reader say?) News reporter introduce the guests (Who they are and where they are from?) The questions the news reporter will ask each guest (2 per guest) and the answers the guests will give Key points the interviewer will give to summarise Thanking the guests and handing over to the next news item

Success Criteria To use scientific vocabulary. (e.g. balanced diet, keeping healthy, food groups.) To make sure it is a balanced argument (Have you included reasons for and against?)

Getting into role Each person should learn their part of the script Practice on your own Rehearse together

Action Video your news report
