Progetto “ The Canterville Ghost ” classi quinte Inss. Angela Eddario Maria Gragnaniello

This is the Otis family: Mr Otis, Mrs Otis, Virginia, Washington and the twins.

They live in Canterville Castle. The Castle is beautiful and big.

A Ghost live in Canterville Castle, too. He has got big red eyes, grey hair, a long nose, thin legs and a white face.

He thinks he’s very frightening. But nobody is afraid of the Ghost.

The twins play jokes on the Ghost. They prepare a Jack O’Lantern to frighten the Ghost.

The Ghost is very sad. He cries in his room in the tower.

The Ghost tells her about his malediction.

He can only rest when… a golden girl helps him and the almond tree has flowers.

Virginia wants to help the Ghost and they go through a wall.

The Otis family looks for Virginia in the rooms, under the beds, behind the doors, on the roof. They finally see her by the almond tree. They look up: the almond tree has flowers. Virginia beats the malediction and the Ghost can finally rest. Now they are surprised and happy!!!

In Canterville Castle almond trees have not flowers. So the Ghost goes to another castle.

Virginia asks to a witch to become a Ghost. So they live happy!!!
