The London eye is one of the largest Ferris wheels in the world, located in the London borough of Lambeth on the South Bank of the Thames.

The history of the London eye The wheel was created by husband and wife- architects David marks and Julia Barfield. the weight of steel in the London eye is 1,700 tonnes.

The London eye has 32 fully enclosed and a ir -conditioned cabins capsules for passengers. Height of 135 meters (about 45 floors) opens a view of almost the entire city.

Each capsule weighs 10 tonnes and can accommodate up to 25 passengers.

The London eye from the beginning was called the Millennium Wheel, then British Airways London Eye, and later Merlin Entertainments London Eye.
