Chapter Structure President VP People Directors VP Engagement Directors VP External Directors VP Internal Directors

Expectations of VP Candidates Traits and Attitudes Willing to learn how to organize people, and provide event support Ability to set goals, be flexible with goals, ask for help, and reflect Ability to ask tough questions Ability to communicate, empathize, and provide support for others Ability to work independently and within a group Willing to participate in event organizing with Directors who need support Logistics Must complete an application by March 6 th, 2012 at midnight Must be able to participate in the role from May 2012 to April 2013 Must be a paying member of Engineers Without Borders Must make a rockin’ two minute speech to the Chapter at the next meeting (March 7 th, 2012)

VP Role Profiles VP People Managing directors involved in organizing retreats, member learning events, the P2P program, social events and recruitment. VP Engagement Managing directors who organize youth engagement presentations and connections or large student outreach events on campus.

VP Role Profiles (cont.) VP External Managing directors who are involved in Advocacy, Gala, faculty connections, corporate outreach. VP Internal Managing directors under the following projects: weekly s, website, social media, office and logistics, room booking, logistics, media connections, publicity.

Expectations of Director Candidates Traits and Attitudes Willingness to learn and try new things Ability to motivate yourself and others Ability to set goals, be flexible with goals, ask for help, and reflect Ability to plan ahead (or willingness to learn to do so) Ability to work independently and within a group Have a great attitude!
