Digital Imaging Class Standards

Course Description Students in digital imaging will learn the techniques and skills of manipulating images through the use of digital cameras and software programs. Using Photoshop, students will learn how to manipulate resolution, image size, pixels, color modes, enhancement tools and digital output. Students will create an electronic portfolio of their work.

Essential Standard The student can: Create an original digital portfolio.

Evaluation: Final grade will be determined by: Individual grades earned throughout the term on: A variety of Digital Imaging related assignments centered around iPhoto and Photoshop CS6 software applications All assignments must be completed in order to pass the course.

Attendance/Tardiness Attendance is the responsibility of each student. All current Kennedy High School attendance policies will be followed.

Fire Alarm All students must evacuate the classroom when the alarm sounds. Stop working and leave as quickly as possible. Leave through the front door of the room and take an immediate right to leave the building.

Hall Pass Students are expected to have a valid hall pass with them at all times when they are out of class. No pass during the first ten minutes of class time. Students found without a pass will be marked unverified for that class period.

Reserve Teacher The reserve teacher will be given direction for for the class. Respect is very important will the reserve teacher is here. A written report will be made for the instructor covering the conduct of the class.
