KNOWLEDGE Learn from others and build relationships-Create a network of support – In your district SPED, CTE, Instruction, Transportation, Food Service, Testing – Region RUG groups, Regional Attendance Groups, Regional Technology Groups – State State attendance meetings, informational conference calls

KNOWLEDGE Tennessee Code Annotated – State Board of Education Rules and Regulations – Local Board Policies EIS: Business Rules, Data Dictionary, etc. – TN Attendance Supervisors web site

INTEGRITY – Fidelity Do the numbers reflect the truth? Do the numbers reflect what is best for students? – Transparent Does everyone understand what the numbers mean?

DIVERSITY Data allows us to see trends and issues, but never forget that it represents a diverse range of students and their families. They are more than numbers.

DIVERSITY Do you leave the office and spend quality time with family and friends? Those are the numbers that REALLY count.

SUCCESS Have you provided accurate and timely data to maximize funding for your students?

SUCCESS Have you provided data to enable your faculty and staff to provide the services, interventions, enrichment, etc. that will benefit your students?
