BELIEFS RELATED TO CLASS: 1. Whatever you don't learn and get out of this class you might have to learn the hard way. 2. This class is as good for your future district as it is for you personally. 3. I consider myself a practical field application expert of school law but not a case or textbook law expert. 4. Common sense and reasonableness will get you through 99% of possible legal scenarios. reasonableness is the key ingredient. There is a lot of grey in law. 5. This class is only one ingredient to your understanding of school law. You must be willing to stay current on cases and the evolution of school law to be a good school leader.
