About the Hotel The T&T ice hotel first opened in January miles north of Stockholm, the capital of Sweden. It is the worlds biggest and only ice hotel in Europe. In 2006, builders Tyler Horenfeldt and Tory Dick decided to build a bed out of ice and put it on display at the Swedish museum of art. At the museum, a little girl thought the ice bed was fascinating and suggested that we should expand our buisiness in ice items. Tyler and Tory listened to this idea which led to them building an ice hotel in Sweden. The T&T ice hotel is now known as one of the most popular hotels in the world, having over tourists visit in The entire hotel is made out of snow and ice. The hotel is made from over tons of ice. The T&T ice hotel operates from December to March.

History Of The Swedish Flag Sweden's flag was adopted on June 22, 1906, but its design is hundreds of years old (it dates from 1521). The Swedish flag is blue with a golden-yellow Scandinavian cross. The colors are taken from the Swedish national arms and the design is from the Danish flag.
