Windows Live Movie Maker

Making a Title In your ribbon click “Title” You can now type what you would like the title of your movie to be

Editing Title 1 st click “Format” in your ribbon 2 nd You can now play around and edit your font and background color and fade effects

Duration of Time Slide is Played You can edit the duration of time the slide is played by clicking “Edit” in your ribbon Type in the amount of time you wish the slide to play

Credits To add credits to your movie click “Credits” in your ribbon You can now edit the text background and fade effects much the same as making a title

Transitions 1 st click “Animations” in your ribbon You can add transitions to your movie between slides and edit the duration

To add a photo or video to your movie project, click “Add videos and photos” Adding Photos and Videos This screen will pop up and then choose the picture or video you wish to add.

Music Too add music to your movie, click “Add music” If you click the arrow it will give you this drop down menu. You can add music to the beginning by “Add music” or to the current point your at by the 2 nd option. This screen will pop up after you choose add and now you can choose the music you wish to add This is what it should look like after you have inserted music with your movie.

Music Cont. Click “Remove” to delete the selected music. Click “Auto Mix” to change the music volume to be louder or softer in your movie. Click “Fit to Music” to create extend your movie the entire length of the song.

Music Cont. Click “Music Tools” to get this top ribbon screen. Choose to fade in or fade out you music or change the start and ending point.

Importing a Video Click “Add Videos and Photos” in your ribbon You can now find your video in your documents folder Click “open” Your video will now be on windows movie maker.
