During this lab we…watered plant seeds, took their weight, and saw if they grew and how tall if they did. What we wanted to find out…why didn’t our plant grow? ASK A QUESTION

In this slide you are to write whether your group was a control group or an experimental group. Control a control group waters a plant with unpolluted water. State your hypothesis the plant will not grow. My hypothesis was that the plant will grow. CONTROL VS. VARIABLE STATE YOUR HYPOTHESIS

Insert Chart Insert Graph DATA DateDry Wt.Wet Wt.DifferenceHeight 4/17/ /18/ /20/ /23/ /30/

What happened during your experiment? My plant grew because we had unpolluted water. Think about: What could have affected your data (amount/type of water, sunlight, seed, etc.). What could of effected our plant is not enough water, or too much. Explain your graph-Give a three to five sentence explanation of your data. Over a period of time my plant got heavier from water, then lighter from getting dried out. DATA INTERPRETATION

My hypothesis that stated…was (correct/incorrect). Why do you think this happened? Correct. I said our plant our plant would grow because we had unpolluted water. What was something you learned from this experiment? Something I learned from this experiment was that polluted water will kill plants. How would you alter this experiment for future use? I will use unpolluted water for my plants. STATE YOUR CONCLUSION
