Presentation to CCC, 02 April 2013 by Ms. Sonja MEYER, GIZ Civil Peace Service Advisor to Kdei Karuna “Enabling individuals to live together with dignity, tolerance and harmony”
KdK began working in Cambodia in 2005 as a branch of the US-based International Center for Conciliation (ICfC). ICfC’s Historical Conciliation Methodology seeks to assist villagers in their own efforts to heal historical wounds. Our projects focus on empowering villagers through a Participatory Approach that encourages the Cambodians to engage in non- violent conflict resolution.
Kdei Karuna aims to strengthen peace-building capacities to actively engage different elements of society in non-violent conflict resolution. Kdei Karuna contributes to sustainable peace efforts by enabling individuals to live together with dignity, tolerance, and harmony.
