Strega Nona was an old woman who lived in a small town. She had a magic touch.  She could sing.  She could get rid of warts.  She could get rid of pimples.

Way To go!!!! Strega Nona needed help with her house and her garden. Big Anthony got the job.  Anthony would climb the tree.  Anthony would feed the goat.  Anthony would dance a jig.

Excellent. You are doing great. There was one thing that Big Anthony was not to do –  He was not to touch the tea pot.  He was not to play in the yard.  He was not to touch the pasta pot.

Great. Keep going. One day he heard Strega Nona singing to the pasta pot. But Big Anthony did not see Strega Nona  stomp up and down  blow three kisses to the pasta pot  wave her hands over the pasta pot

WOW ! Anthony told everyone about the magic pasta pot. They laughed at him. He said, “I’ll show them.” Strega Nona went to visit her friend and Big Anthony was to look after the house and the yard. Big Anthony  sang the magic words  said the magic words  printed the magic words

Congratulations! The pot began to bubble and boil and fill with pasta. Big Anthony ran to tell everyone to come to Strega Nona’s house for pasta. Everyone went to Strega Non’s house. Big Anthony gave everyone some pasta. He sang the magic words. And then  Strega Nona came home.  pasta was all over the floor.  the pot was empty.

Bravo! You’re almost finished! He sang the magic words again but the pasta kept coming. It almost reached the village.  Strega Nona came home.  Big Anthony remembered the three kisses.  The pot stopped making pasta.

Super ! Strega Nona sang the magic song and blew three kisses. The pot stopped. Strega Nona was upset.  Big Anthony went to bed without supper.  Big Anthony was sent away.  Big Anthony had to eat all the pasta.
