I NEXPENSIVE P RINTMAKING All you need is a knife and some cardboard

W HY MAKE P RINTS ? It’s faster than doing an original piece of art each time. You can make multiples for everyone. If you are selling your work, you can make more $ from the same piece of art. Once your original plate is made, you can have other people print it for you ( Andy Warhol had a Factory!) You can vary your colors. You can manipulate your prints after they are made using other materials.

H ERE IS A SIMPLE, INEXPENSIVE WAY TO TEACH PRINTMAKING You will need: corrugated cardboard, newsprint, pencil, and an exacto knife.
