Introduction  My next few slides are going to be talking about popular music, sports, art, food and the currency

Popular Music  The country of Chile has a wide range of music ranging from classical music to folkloric music. The northern part of Chile is the center of culture. Tradition dances are strongly encouraged in northern Chile. The cueca is a popular dance in Chile. 

Popular Sports  Soccer in the most popular sport in Chile. The first sport ever to be played in Chile was palín which is very similar to hockey. They also played a little bit of badminton. 

Popular Art  This is a popular art piece

Popular Animals  Some of the most popular animals in Chile are foxes, pumas and alpacas.  Alpacas Pumas Foxes

Popular Food  Empanadas – empanadas are mainly made by using peas, white onions, and hard-boiled eggs. 

Currency  Chilean Pesos=1 US dollar 
