Hertfordshire County Council BSF – Update Renewed focus on an educational transformation programme £210m in Stevenage All secondary schools involved Schools ready for 21 st century –‘The first of something new not the best of the old’ School staff, governors and students engaged.

Hertfordshire County Council Outcomes of statutory review Six, 8FE mainstream schools –now 5 x 8fe, 1 x 7fe Closure of Heathcote –2012 Relocation of TAS to Great Ashby Co-location of Lonsdale and Greenside on mainstream sites Relocation of Valley school

Hertfordshire County Council The Outline Business Case Due for submission on 23 rd July after Cabinet approval on 21 st July –At this stage still under development Develop the plans for educational transformation into reality. Relates to corporate and CYPP objectives Sets out how the educational estate will be developed Sets out costs Affordability – funding streams (including negotiating abnormals) Identifies risks and strategies for dealing with them. Proposals for working arrangements with the LEP Timetable Strategy for leading and managing the change.
