Glacier National Park By Grant Robertson

Glacier National Park was made in 1910 established by a man from Canada and one from America were trying to make a park out of the Rockies Glaciers mountains were made more than 60 million years ago tension were building in earths crust and could no longer be contained so a huge slab of rock came up and moved more than 50 miles to the east

Glacier has mountains made up of hardened limestone, mudstone, and sandstone and those tensions in the earth that made the mountains rise Glacier has many land forms. Millions of years ago mountains rose out of the earths crust making the Rocky Mountains today.

The land in Glacier changing with there glaciers. Scientists think that more snow is melting then it does fall each winter. Glacier has one major problem that it is facing. They have a long road that is 50 miles and that is a lot of gas being used. Also people us it for fishing, skiing, and biking.

Glacier has 50 miles of dirt road that show the more beautiful sights ever. You can have fun while driving and seeing all the sects. Fun for the whole Family.
