Shrink Boot Installation: Grab Your Gun and Your Boots!  Ordinary heat gun is best tool for the job  The part should be seated (heated) at the connector end first and recovered back to the cable.  Not difficult to perform but training is needed.  Adhesive parts must be heated longer to activate the adhesive.  Heat guns at high temperature can scorch the outside of the part…so proper use of the tool is important.
