Definition in your own words Laissez faire is the belief that economies and businesses function best when there is no interference by the government Facts /characteristics Supporters of laissez-faire capitalism do not want the government to interfere in business matters. National governments regulate business to some degree. Laissez faire, a doctrine of political economy that carried the United States from an agrarian to an industrial society. Examples: Under laissez-faire, workers have the same rights as everyone else: to life, liberty and property. (2) An economy based on capitalism. (3) Society benefits if its members are free to pursue their separate self-interests Laissez-Faire is related to people who do not get involved in other people’ activities or behavior. Laissez Faire is related to people having economic freedom and the ability to compete with other businesses. Laissez – Faire
