Music video pitch By Georgia Hawkins, Tom Amy, and Eden Shellabear-Sanchez

Our client: Gabriel Lingham-sutch. Our client is a sound engineer currently studying music production at college in London. Some of his hobbies include skateboarding, gaming, and play a wide range of musical instruments, including the ukulele. In the future, Gabriel hope to produce music that will aspire others to become more creative and artistic.

Our idea and narrative. As our piece of music that our client has produced for us is very artistic and original, we have decided to portray this in our video. We have decided to incorporate a wide range of camera shots that will easily be able to show our narrative. Or main narrative for our music video is to follow the journey of the artist as he discovers who he wants to become. His journey will begin around a campfire, with other people, and then our client will be “transported” into the TV studio for a number of action shots, close up shots, and artistic shots.

Shots we are including. Close up shots of eyes. Slow motion action shots of paint and glitter on drums. Fire shots. Tracking shot of client(in the TV studio). Side profile shots of the client. Establishing shots. Low frame rate and low aperture. Glow sticks will be incorporated into the client’s clothing. Overlays of different film to create shadows on the client. Dancing shots.

Health and safety. As we have decided to film in a number of different locations, we have had to get the permission of each land owner. We have found a safe and legal space to film the fire scenes for our music video. The majority of our action shots will be filmed in the TV studio at the college.

Lighting. At the start of our music video, our scene will be lit by the bonfire and a few camera lights. When we are filing in the TV studio, we shall be using spot lights, overhead lights and camera lights to give our music video a more artistic and original feel. When editing our music video, the spot lights will be edited in an creative way to capture the audiences attention.
