DEFINITION A preposition is a word which shows the relationship of a noun or a pronoun with another word in a sentence. The word preposition means ‘’that which is placed before’’ Eg. There are four eggs in the basket. The dog barks at the boy. I bought the pen for Rs 10. The Policeman is on duty. I was talking with my friend. The sky is above us.
