Frederic Chopin The genius of the music of the nineteenth century He was the Polish composer of the period of romanticism, which introduced revolutionary changes in the world of piano music. Its exceptional expressive style is reflected in his first concerts. Besides, he was a pianist-virtuoso and a teacher.

He was the author of many works for piano and newly interpreted many genres: revived on a romantic basis prelude, created a piano ballad, made poetry and dramatized dances - Mazurka, Polonaise, waltz; turned Scherzo in independent work. Chopin's artistic activities began in He played in Vienna, Krakow, performing his works. His first concert Chopin gave in Paris at the age of 22. It was full success. Chopin performed rarely at the concerts, but in the salons of the Polish colony and the French aristocracy glory Chopin was growing extremely fast.

Chopin was born on March 1, 1810 in a village near Warsaw and died on October 17, 1849 in Paris. Chopin is one of the main composers in the repertoire of many pianists. Recording of his works appears in the catalogues of the major record companies. Since 1927 in Warsaw the international competition of pianists Chopin has been held. Among the winners there is a famous Polish pianist Agricultural Sztompka, who was an admirer of Chopin.
