A.Title: Subtitle (1)  Create an attention getting title using a quote or other descriptive Idea: Examples: Nicknames, Titles from Newspaper Headlines, Song /Poem written at the time about your topic, Title of speech.  Create a subtitle which describes your project and includes the Theme B. Thesis (Intro Mini Paragraph (2)  Write a 3-5 Sentence Intro of your Topic: This should include a Thesis Statement connected to “Theme” This is what you are going to “PROVE” in your project. You can use the Chicken Foot to help plan. C. Historical Context/Background (3)  What was the Time Period Like? Socially/ Political / Economically  What events/people shaped and Influenced your Topic? D. Bucketing and Claims (4)  Sort Note Cards into Buckets or Categories that will help Develop 3-5 Claims E. Evidence for Each Claim (3-5 fold out strips) (5)  Develop Evidence for each Claim with Citations have a fold out claim strip for each claim with 3-5 pieces of evidence from my Primary and/or Secondary Sources and I have Citations for each piece of Evidence F. Theme/Impact: Exploration Encounter and Exchange in History (6)  List Ways in which your topic made an Impact ?  Include Specifics /Why was this important in History?  How did it Change things?  You are proving it’s an Important part of Exploration, Encounter and Exchange in History. Explain. G. Conclusion: Historical Significance (7)  What were the Successes?  Failures?  Consequences?  How has/will/may this project influence or shape Present/Future Events? H.
