Understanding the extended essay in your subject area On the wikispace, click on the link Extended Essay Guidelines.wikispace Open the PDF file and find the pages for your subject under Details—Subject Specific. Click the link for your subject and write down the page numbers for the instructions for your subject. (Write the first page number that appears in parentheses. For example, history starts on page 113 and ends on page 117.) Print only those pages.
Print an exemplar for your subject area. Go back to the main menu on the wiki and click on the link Exemplar Essays. Find and open the exemplar for your subject. Print both the essay and its marksheet. If you don’t see an exemplar posted for your subject, inform Ms. Doherty in person or by and she’ll post one for your subject ASAP.
