Using material from Item A and elsewhere, assess the strengths & weaknesses of using experiments to investigate power and authority in prisons. (15 marks)

 Read through the mark scheme  Use the mark scheme to mark the essay you are given  1 – strengths/weaknesses method  2- method applied to crime & deviance in general  3 – method applied to the specific area of crime & deviance stated in the Q  Complete the feedback sheet – circle targets and complete the teacher feedback section

Before you start; Write the essay question on your cover sheet – think about the different parts (chunks) Complete your essay cover sheet with the targets were you given on your previous essay question? How are you going to make sure you address them in this essay?
