THE HISTORY OF TOYS The origins of toys goes back a very distant, ancient (prehistoric toys are sometimes found by archaeologists during excavations). Typically, children's toys imitate "adult" or everyday objects helped to play the role of a small adult. This kind of toys are universal - appear in any cultural environment, from the beginning of humanity. For example, with the doll she can play a role there, and boy when you play with a wooden sword (and today: a plastic gun) can feel like a knight (the soldier).
