Sarcoidosis Brianna Alarcon April/12/2012 Science 5 th

WHAT IS SARCOIDOSIS The developing growth of tiny clumps of inflammatory cells, mainly in the lungs.which can make it hard to breathe. Also make it quite painful to breathe.

HOW DO YOU GET SARCOIDOSIS? It is unknown but doctors believe it is inhaled.

DOES THE BODY TRY TO CURE ITSELF? Yes the body does try to cure itself. But in a way that will only make the problem worse. Your body sends in cells to release a chemical to fight off the inflamed cells. These cells being sent in become a part of the inflamed clumps.

WHAT MEDICINES CAN YOU TAKE? It hasn’t been yet cured but you can take antibiotics to kill the inflamed cells and relieve pain.
