Tell which shapes are polygons.  A polygon is a closed plane figure made up of line segments.  Each line segment is a side.  The point where the sides meet is called the vertex.  More than one vertex are vertices.

Scalene, equilateral, isosceles Scalene triangles have no sides the same length.

Think about angles  Right triangle  Acute triangle  Obtuse triangle

A right triangle has a right angle A right angle makes a perfect square corner.

Acute angles _ less than 90 degrees Just look at the angles – not the sides

Obtuse – greater than 90 degrees Can you tell which angle is obtuse?
