Rainforest Day By Hannah and Bella.

On Friday 13 th January 2012, Dave the rainforest man came in to talk about the rainforest. We held many of different varieties of animals and tried different foods. Dave also brought in some items that he had collected whilst he was there.

Animals Dave brought in Rainforest animals which we held/stroked. It was lots of fun and everybody thoroughly enjoyed it. The animals were… -spiders (very scary) -praying mantis -reticulated python (called Charlie) -scorpion (called Sting) And lots more..

Activities We all took part in a selection of activities, it was a lot of fun. Dave also showed us a blow pipe which he shot a banana and a balloon with. It was quite scary but we all enjoyed it. The activities were … -Drawing bugs and other objects - making necklaces -Face painting -Trying food -Holding the animals And loads more!

More pictures of the rainforest day. This was a drink maker This was a snake. This is a lizard on Dave’s daughter’s nose. This is 6R having their picture done after a long day of fun!

Artefacts Dave brought in a variety of artefacts such as masks, baskets, blow pipe (4 metres long), face paint and food.
