CEC, Phase I Process u CEC formed two groups - Technical and Non- technical to develop strawman proposals ØRule 21 Language ØMinimum Compliance requirements u Single document envisioned in the process u Develop recommendations on interconnection rules for California ØTie-in with IEEE national standards development.

20 ISU: DER in Illinois / Springfield, IL / May 18, 2000 Rate design and related issues CPUC, Phase II Testimony March 29 Workshop at CPUC addressed rate design issues. 36 Questions posed to parties.  Each Utility to provide a document describing their standby charges and definitions  Testimony to be filed May 26th, including:  stranded costs, implementation costs,  standby, bypass, and distribution wheeling rates,  Performance-Based Ratemaking (PBR) mechanisms,  potential impact of DG on public purpose programs.
