ASCCC Spring Plenary - April am - 11:15am Section § Withdrawal.  Limits number of times that a student can receive a “W”  4 “W’s” can be allowed, but then student must receive a grade –District may permit more W’s with no apportionment

ASCCC Spring Plenary - April am - 11:15am Section § Withdrawal.  Apportionment for “W’s” already limited elsewhere  Exemption to “W” policy—withdrawal due to natural disasters/extraordinary circumstances  By July 1, 2009, establish a policy on “W” in credit courses—not to exceed 4 times

ASCCC Spring Plenary - April am - 11:15am Section § Types of Courses Appropriate to the Associate Degree.  “During the first phase of revisions to chapter 6, the language of this section was modified to limit the scope of subdivision (c) to English composition courses. However, it has been concluded that this was erroneous and that reading courses should also fall under that provision. The amendments will accomplish this. ”

ASCCC Spring Plenary - April am - 11:15am § Repetition of Noncredit Courses  Chancellor to report to the Board of Governors by January 15, 2009 on appropriate limitations on state apportionment for repetition of noncredit courses including multiple enrollments in the same course during the same term  To be developed in consultation with Academic Senate, CIOs, and other appropriate groups  SACC subcommittee (supplemented with other community college constituencies and LAO and DOF representation) established to develop recommendations  Adopt appropriate limitations by June 30, 2009
