Ralph W. Russell, II Page 7 CPMT BOG Meeting 6 November Irving, TX Membership Strategic Planning  CPMT Membership Concerns  If members join primarily for our technical publications, why should they join CPMT if in the future they have an easier and cheaper access to the publications?  Does CPMT need more than a few members to survive and prosper?  Does CPMT have an obligation to provide special services to its members or is our primary obligation to the technologists in the packaging industry?  How do we balance any obligation to serve with earning money?  Should non CPMT members be permitted to hold BOG and Chapter Leadership positions?  Are a large number of volunteers needed or can CPMT activities be handled by a small group of volunteers and professionals?  Are Global CPMT Chapters needed?  How do we measure success as a Society? Is it strictly financial?
