RULE #2 CONCRETE AND ABSTRACT NOUNS CONCRETE: NAMES SOMETHING YOU CAN RECOGNIZE USING THE 5 SENSES (SIGHT, SMELL, TOUCH ETC.) ABSTRACT: NAMES SOMETHING THAT CANNOT BE RECOGNIZED USING THE 5 SENSES

RULE #3 COLLECTIVE NOUNS COLLECTIVE NOUNS: NAMES A GROUP OF PEOPLE OR THINGS.

RULE #4 COUNT AND NON COUNT NOUNS COUNT NOUNS: NAME THINGS THAT CAN BE COUNTED NON-COUNT NOUNS: NAME THINGS THAT CANNOT BE COUNTED.

RULE #5 COMPOUND NOUNS: NOUNS MADE UP OF TWO OR MORE WORDS. LIKE: CLASSROOM THREE TYPES: SINGLE WORD (CLASSROOM), HYPHENATED WORDS (BY-PRODUCT), AND SEPARATE WORDS (DINNER JACKET).
