Conclusions 42 % CIOs report there is no company Green Plan 45% CIOs don’t have a Green IT Plan 70% of CIOs have not made an ROI calculation for green IT There is more movement on the operational green IT issue by issue front where in the majority of the cases there is a plan to implement some kind of green policy In only one third of the operational issues has there been some movement towards completion of a plan The major motivator the CIO sees to go green for now is the Board, not government regulation (but that may change with a new administration in Washington) October 23, 20087ICEBE 2008
