March 2012 Updates: Hahgoot Turns 6 Years Old and Celebrates at Luna Park! Part 2

After lunch we went to the area where kids can go on rides by themselves. Unfortunately, Alma was too young and too short to go on the rides with Hahgoot and she became very disappointed, poor thing. Hahgoot did very well, trying nearly everything. Here she is riding a dragon.

Next she tried something new, with dad: The Spider! It twirled around really fast and both of them had a good time (it was really nice to see Hahgoot enjoy such a wild ride, as she has come a long way since her first tests at the OT where she got dizzy and disoriented from a simple swing turning around).

Hahgoot led the “car racing”

We walked through Coney Island (but didn’t play there, it was too noisy and too dark for Hahgoot’s liking) and then watched the street dancers. (Barak: One of them was actually dancing to the right rhythm!)

Barak and Hahgoot tried the bumping cars, which is one of Barak’s favourites. Hahgoot did it bravely but did not like the movement and abrupt jolting (and it was also too fast, noisy and dark).

Before Hahgoot finds things too overwhelming (she didn’t look too happy after the wild bumping cars), we had an ice cream and coffee break. Hahgoot had a rainbow “crazy cone”!

Next we stopped at Hahgoot’s favourite booth and everyone got a go throwing the balls down the clowns’ mouths. Alma refused to participate, terrified of the vulgar moving heads. Together we won a colourful caterpillar!

Next Barak and Hahgoot went on another fast ride: The Wild Mouse! Meanwhile Alma sat in the pram and looked suspiciously at the roaming clowns... Both Barak and Hahgoot did not like the ride. Barak found the chairs too rough and it hurt his back, while Hahgoot was terrified of the fast winding tracks and spent most of the time hiding on the bottom of the cart. Oh well, at least they were brave and tried something new.

Barak played his favourite booth and won a huge colourful ball, that will be very useful!

On the way back to the entrance we went together on the Ferris wheel and Alma really enjoyed this ride!

The last ride was another turn on the carousel

We got sausages in buns and fairy floss to keep us awake on the long train ride back Both girls were extra tired but handled the trip back well, thanks to the LeapPad and lots of rice crackers...
