For a level 5 you need to be able to identify several different views of the afterlife and show some understanding of religious views. For a level 6 you need to compare in detail different religious views of the afterlife and begin to link these to your own views and those of others. For a level 7-8 you must compare and evaluate in detail both religious and non-religious views and arrive at a well argued conclusion about the afterlife

‘Once you are dead, you’re dead. There is no life after death’ Do you agree? Give reasons to support your answer and show that you have thought about different points of view. You need to : look at views which are different from your own. state your viewpoint and give reasons, based on evidence you have come across, to support your views. Come to a conclusion, re-stating whether you agree with the question or not, with a brief reason.

What do different religions agree or disagree about when discussing life after death? Do you think ghosts or NDEs are reliable evidence of an afterlife? Why are humans so fascinated with life after death? What is your final opinion about life after death? Do you believe in resurrection or reincarnation…or nothing at all? Explain why
