ROUNDING OFF By Ali And sara

How it works When Pakistani government carries census, it tries to count, very accurately, every person living in the country. For example… If some one asks Sid his age, Sid does not answer 15 years,4 months,12 days,15 hours,3 minutes and 33 seconds! He simply says: I AM 15 ! Sid has ROUNDED OFF his age to the nearest year And, if you ask Sid how many people live on super globe, he certainly won’t remember that the number is 87,688,000. But he might be able to say about 88,000,000. Sid has ROUNDED OFF the number to the nearest million

HOW TO ROUND OFF Rounding off is a useful short cut. its helps us give approximate answer when exact answer are not needed. To round off the number to the nearest 10,look at the numbers in the ones place. we round down if that number is smaller than 5 and round up if it is 5 or bigger than 5.

SOLUTION HOW TO MAKE ROUND OFF 138,112 AND 51 TO THE NEAREST 10 SOLUTION 138 = = = 50
