Always carry 2 extra pencils and have your supplies readily available. Raise your hand to be acknowledged, and THEN speak. Sit up in your desk; don't put your head down (at least look alert!) Don't walk up to the teacher. Stay seated and wait to be acknowledged. Be kind and respectful to students, teacher, and visitors. Get attention in positive, not negative ways. No cellphone use (texting, pictures, surfing the web) Keep bathroom use to a minimum. No chewing gum.
