Is there really anyone that can be trusted?

I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now. Philippians 1:3-5

And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ. It is right for me to feel this way about you all, because I hold you in my heart, for you are all partakers with me of grace, both in my imprisonment and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel. Philippians 1:6-7

IT’S GODS WORK

God never gives up on us.

God’s faithfulness allows us to have faith

Phil 1:6 “that he who began” Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning” Phil 1:6 “a good work in you” Genesis 1: “God saw it and it was good” Phil 1:6 “will bring it to completion” Genesis 2 “Thus the heavens and earth were completed”

The new life He is creating in us is part of a new life in all of creation

Romans 8:19 "The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed."

1 John 3:3 “But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.”

And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve what is excellent, and so be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God. Philippians 1:9-11
