Commitment and Trust are the point of contact Without intentional (willful) commitment there is no connection Am I committed to Him? Is He committed to me? Can I trust Him? Do I? q Faith = the point of contact for our connection with God.

Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God. He was absolutely convinced that God was able to do anything he promised. (Rom 4:20,21)

Then the Lord told Abram, “Leave your country, your relatives, and your father’s house, and go to the land that I will show you. God opens Himself and Invites Abram to connect q

So Abram departed as the Lord had instructed him, q

Connection is at the deepest level of human consciousness and experience

Substitutionary Atonement Atonement = paying for the offence Substitute = someone in your place
