Objective: Identify box shapes on Isometric graph paper and draw a simple 3d box. Vocab: Isometric-Of, or being a geometric system of three equal axes lying at right angles to each other. Assessment: (“Tomorrow’s Quiz”)- “Draw the object on the screen EXACTLY as it is drawn.” 3

Isometric Sketches Approx. 30 degrees Isometric views portray objects in a true 3d perspective. 4

Can you see the pair of shoes in the cubby hole? All lines must be drawn in 1 of 3 directions. 5 Look at this for a minute. Do you see triangles or 3d boxes?
