Is it Worth the Price you Pay? By: Cassandra Kishner

Cheap.VS. Expensive Is it worth the price you Pay? Well apparently not always! One day my dad took me to by a pair of shoes the next day while I was wearing them they ripped! I was really surprised! Was it worth the price I paid? Not at all! Also According to Annie Elias, one time her uncle bought her a new backpack with wheels for school. It cost about $60. When she was carrying it on the way home it broke!

These boots cost about $200 But they last for a long time These shoes original price is really expensive. And they lasted! Sometimes the item is expensive because it may last longer. One example, is UGGS. UGGS are really expensive but they last a lot longer than You would expect them to. Over the winter I bought a pair to keep warm and I still have them also they didn’t rip the slightest bit.

Brand Names Did you ever think some brands are more expensive because of their brand names? Well, I sure have! Most brands with fancier names take advantage of that and sell their items a lot more money then there worth!

This bag is 4 years old it was about $30 But it was worth it. This glass bowl is kind of expensive but it has lasted many years.

Is it worth the price you pay? As you can see expensive items aren’t always better than cheap items and cheap items aren’t always better than expensive items. Usually the price doesn’t matter depending on how long the item will last, sometimes the brand name doesn’t either. If the item is more natural like UGGS, which is made with sheep fur it may hold up better but it’s still likely to get ruined after many years.

In my opinion, I think it really depends on the item. How real the product is made. Also how well it was built. For example, According to Sydney Zgodny who loves to shop at Lester’s there SOFFE shorts are very expensive though they last a while. So Every year for summer she gets SOFFE shorts at models for about $5 to $7. some of the shorts she got from 2 years ago she still has!

In conclusion, just because an item is really expensive that doesn’t mean the item is better. And just because an item is really cheap money wise doesn’t make it cheap quality wise!

EXPENSIVE.VS. CHEAP IS IT WORTH IT?
