Jesus: God, Man, Our Mediator Luke 3:21-38

Luke 3:21-22 21 Now when all the people were baptized, and when Jesus also had been baptized and was praying, the heavens were opened, 22 and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form, like a dove; and a voice came from heaven, “You are my beloved Son; with you I am well pleased.”

Jesus is God. Isaiah 9:6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:18 No one has ever seen God; the only God, who is at the Father’s side, he has made him known.

Jesus is God. John 20:28–29 28 Thomas answered him, “My Lord and my God!” 29 Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Jesus is God.
