Examples of Communication and Interpersonal skills Effectively express a desire to delay initiation of sexual relations. Influence others and prevent discrimination related to HIV Communicate with parents/teachers/colleagues seeking advise and sharing information on sensitive topics.
Negotiation skills Saying No – negotiate for abstinence Negotiating condom use
Decision making and critical thinking Seek and find reliable sources of information about growing up, sexualities, sexual health Analyse potential of peer situations encountered and determine action to be taken
