“Showed Him Openly” “Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly” (Acts 10: 40).

“Showed Him Openly” “5: And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. 6: He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. 7: And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you” (Matt. 28).

“Showed Him Openly” “3: For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4: And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: 5: And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: 6: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. 7: After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. 8: And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time” (I Cor. 15).

“Showed Him Openly” His appearances were eleven in number. 1. Early Sunday morning (what man calls "Easter") Jesus appeared to Mary Magdaline (Mark 16: 9, John 20: 11-18). 2. On the same Sunday He appeared to the woman returning from the tomb, near Jerusalem (Matt. 28: 9, 10). 3. On this Sunday He appeared to Peter alone (Luke 24: 34).

“Showed Him Openly” His appearances were eleven in number: 4. On Sunday afternoon he appeared to two disciples going to Emmaus (Luke 24: 13-31). 5. On Sunday evening He appeared to the apostles, except for Thomas (John 20: 19-25). 6. Sunday evening of the next week He appeared to all the apostles, Thomas included (John 20: 26-29). 7. At an unspecified time He appeared to seven disciples while they were fishing (John 21: 1-13).

“Showed Him Openly” His appearances were eleven in number: 8. At a time we cannot determine He appeared to eleven disciples on a mountain in Galilee (Matt. 28: 16-20). 9. At an undisclosed time He appeared to over 500 brethren in Galilee (I Cor. 15: 6). 10. At still another time He appeared to James only probably in Jerusalem (I Cor. 15: 7). 11. At an unknown time during this period He appears to all the apostles at the ascension (Luke 24: 50, 51, Acts 1: 6-12).

“Showed Him Openly” “29: Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day. 30: Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne” (Acts 2).
