Parent Tips: How to help your child in science Ask your child to share with you what they are learning. Encourage inquiry and investigation at home when the opportunity presents itself. Check your child’s agenda for homework or assessment tasks due dates and help them keep a schedule for completing assignments. Help your child study for major tests by calling out vocabulary words or asking random questions from their book. If your occupation or hobbies involve science, please consider speaking with our classes.
