SEA Lab Mini Mariners Summer Camp Checklist What to pack? Please remember to pack the following in a backpack on a daily basis. A sack lunch and a snack * Closed toed shoes Sunscreen, hat & sunglasses Chapstick Reusable water bottle-- Change of Clothes *Please pack a nut free lunch. Arrival & Pick-up? Campers must be dropped off at the SEA Lab & signed-in at the gift shop counter between 8:45am-9:00am with a staff member. Mini Mariners may be picked up between 12:45-1:00pm. Remember to please sign-out your camper on a daily basis. Please note that the metered parking lot is monitored frequently during the summer. Don’t forget to bring some quarters. If you haven’t arranged for after-hours care, you will be charged $5 for every 10 minutes that you are late in picking-up your child. After Hours Care? After hours care will be available for the Mini Mariners from 1pm-5pm at an hourly rate of $10 per child. After hours care is not an extension of camp activities. A planned curriculum is not provided for after-hours care. Campers will be supervised and will have the option of drawing, reading, playing board games or watching a film. Your child will also be in the classroom or bathroom area only during after care time. Have your child bring something they like to do with them in the morning. After-hours care must be arranged ahead of time by ing Allergies/Medical Issues? Please review your confirmation to ensure we have the accurate information regarding any allergies or medical concerns. If your child is on any medication, please let us know prior to the start of the summer session. Need to get in touch with us? Please call to contact the SEA Lab and leave a message for or regarding your child. In case of an emergency, call this will put you in contact with the program manager- please call this number only in case of an urgent matter. Want updates? Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Marine Science 101 Small and Big Fish and Sharks Deep Sea Pollution Today we will be learning about types of things that can be found the beach! We will be spending most of our time at the beach so make sure to bring sun protection and please pack a towel and a change of clothes as they may get wet when looking for sand crabs. Don’t forget a hat and sunglasses! Today we will be taking a look at, and even making, some of the littlest things and some of the biggest things in the ocean! We’re going to get creative and make some awesome crafts of some of these animals. We’ll be spending most of our time at the SeaLab. Make sure campers have sun protection and don’t forget a hat and sunglasses! Today we will be learning about fish and sharks and the differences between the two. We will be spending time in the outdoor touch tank area so do not forget to bring closed-toed shoes. We will also be spending most of our time at the SeaLab..
